Master Series Guitar Clinic

Thanks to all who came out to our fifth Master Series Clinic last Wednesday at Sessions Studio in Buffalo. Our guest artist, Tom Hambridge did a great job of explaining the ups and downs of the business side of song writing, and dissecting the mysterious process of pulling song ideas out of thin air. Thanks to everyone who helped put this great event together.
On another note, the long awaited update to the Stone Bridge Band's page on my web site is now complete (www.charlieoneill.net click on BANDS. By the way, yes that's me in 1973 with a double neck Gibson guitar when the page opens). The new page includes our Civic Pride Award 2007 pictures, videos and proclamations from The US House of Representatives, the New York State Assembly, and The City of Buffalo Executive Chamber declaring Stone Bridge Day in Buffalo. Also there is some great new MP3 audio and pictures from the South Buffalo Community Table benefit from this year and past years. This all leads me to ask...who needs a Grammy when we have all this? Please check it out.
The Thirds will be back at The Sportsmen's Tavern on Thursday September 12th at 8 PM. There will be no Unplugged Club Workshop before hand as we are now preparing our own separate Workshop Event (to be scheduled soon). If you'd like some information how you and your guitar can participate...just ask me.
Thank you for your patience over this Summer with respect to my health issues. I am doing well and I don't anticipate as much disruption to my teaching schedule in the weeks to come. If you have had a 'Summer hour' time slot and need to make an adjustment, please contact me, and we'll set you up with a new lesson time.
